Shades of Green by Oorjaa was an immersive lighting exhibition staged within Sabha, a beautifully restored heritage structure reimagined as a cultural venue.

Photographing the exhibition, I was fascinated by the dialogue between permanence and ephemerality. Sabha's architectural character defined by timber columns, it's deep archways, textured walls, and carefully restored details provided a backdrop for Oorja's installations. Suspended from ceilings, emerging from driftwood forms, and unfolding across corridors, the pieces appeared almost organic, as though they had grown naturally within the space.

Through these photographs, I wanted to capture more than the individual pieces themselves. My aim was to document the relationship between light and architecture, and the way Oorjaa's work temporarily reshaped the experience of a historic space.
