Photographing Noida International Airport was an exploration of it's scale, of the rhythmic movement across the different scales of roofs and, of course the light and it's movement through the space. I was especially drawn to the roof silhouettes, the repetition of columns and the strong geometric lines that define the terminal. The changing daylight also helped creat shifting reflections across the polished surfaces, while the landscaped spaces added moments of pause within the vast structure. People became an essential part of the photographs, bringing movement and perspective to the architecture.
